CIAA: Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association
The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) was founded and incorporated in the District of Columbia in 1912 as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization as the Colored Intercollegiate Athletic Association; adopting its current name in December 1950. The conference is headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina and is governed by a Board of twelve (12) Presidents and Chancellors representing institutions from Pennsylvania to South Carolina; comprised of both private and public colleges and universities with enrollments ranging from 750 to over 8,000 students. The CIAA is one of America’s oldest athletic conferences; producing championships annually in the following sports: Men’s and Women’s Cross Country; Volleyball; Football; Men’s and Women’s Indoor and Outdoor Track; Men’s and Women’s Basketball; Women’s Bowling; Women’s Tennis; Golf; and Softball.

SWAC: Sothwestern Athletic Conference
The Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) was founded in 1920. The SWAC is considered one of the premier HBCU conferences in the country and currently ranks among the elite in the nation in terms of HBCU alumni playing with professional sports teams. Current championship competition offered by the league includes competition for men in Baseball, Basketball, Cross Country, Football, Golf, Indoor Track and Field, Outdoor Track and Field and Tennis. Women’s competition is offered in the sports of Basketball, Bowling, Cross Country, Golf, Indoor Track and Field, Outdoor Track and Field, Soccer, Softball, Tennis and Volleyball.

MEAC: Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference
The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) was founded in 1970. The MEAC sponsors 14 Division I (FCS) sports: women's bowling, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's cross country, football, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's track & field, softball and volleyball. The MEAC receives automatic NCAA qualification bids in seven sports – men's and women's basketball, women's bowling, men's and women's tennis, softball and volleyball.

SIAC: Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference
The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) was founded in 1913. As the second oldest historically black college and university athletic conference, the SIAC has one of the most storied histories in all of the NCAA. Many of the conference's former athletes and coaches have transcended to larger-than-life characters that continue to be monumental in the world of sports.
